Tandoori Chicken and White Asparagus

I cooked tandoori chiken tonight.


The result;
I Still Don't Know How My Oven Wooooooooorks!!

This afternoon, I walked to Crouch End to try out my wellies and found white asparagus.

Walked pass the shop, but, having second thoughts, went back.

Looked at the tag saying "From Peru", had third thoughts, and bought it.

Why not?

It was 1.50 after all, I had to try!!

And at the dinner table, they were very nice, even without sauce Hollandaise. (I'm in the UK, who wants to risk raw egg??! Certainly not me!!)

Just with french mustard, it was gorgeous.

How nice to have my favorite for this price!

But how weird to have it in December!!
